Serving under Lord Abhorash, Renault Strakengast led the Lahmian 51st 'Undying Thirst' regiment against the forces of Nehekhara, as they revolted against the governing body of Lahmia.  Proving himself as an exceptional field tactician and conqueror of men, Strakengast's 51st tallied more victories than any other regiment in the Lahmian army.  Unfortunately, the dark powers had yet to smile on Strakengast, as the whole of Lahmia fell, spreading its champions into hiding.   

Many years later, after the Lord of Blood, Abhorash, defeated the great wyrm and consumed it's life-blood, he sent for his reliable general and good friend.   Lord Abhorash's messengers found Strakengast ruling a fiefdom on the border of Bretonnia and the Zombie Marshes.  Upon hearing the call of his Lord, he left his estate and went to Abhorash's side hoping the time for vengeance upon Nehekhara was at hand.  What he found was a gift that would change his life forever.  Abhorash granted him the power of the Blood Dragons.  

        No longer did Strakengast need to feed on mortals for blood, now he was a supreme fighting machine with little weaknesses.   With his new powers he raised the 51st from it's sleep, with hopes of punishing the mortals of the Old World for raising their hand against the true masters.  In the meantime, Renault Strakengast needs to hone his tactical abilities.  Having taken to the popular game of 'Blood Bowl' while living in Bretonnia, he has decided to field a team for the glory of Lahmia.  With the team's graces in favor of Lord Abhorash, Strakengast raised his best troops to take part on the team, particularly his right hand man, Sir Esquivel, the team captain.  Followed by a savage but dependable tribe of ghouls, Strakengast has entered his team in the XBBL, to not only show the living how the game is played, but to prepare for the raise of Lahmia...
